Angular Developer

📍 Sofia, Bulgaria | Hybrid (1–2 days onsite) | Contract

We’re hiring a Mid–Senior Angular Developer to join a high-impact project in the sports betting domain, working on next-generation digital platforms used by thousands of active users in real time.

You’ll be building high-performance, scalable front-end applications where speed, reliability, and user experience directly impact business outcomes. This is an ideal role for engineers who enjoy solving complex UI challenges and optimizing systems under real-world load.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Developing and maintaining modern Angular applications using Angular 16+, Standalone Components, and Signals
  • Building real-time, data-driven interfaces (live odds, events, betting flows, transactions)
  • Driving performance optimization across the application (lazy loading, rendering efficiency, bundle size reduction)
  • Collaborating with backend teams on API integrations and Server-Side Rendering (Angular Universal)
  • Working within large-scale monorepos (Nx / Turborepo) to maintain consistency and scalability
  • Contributing to micro-frontend architectures in a modular, extensible system
  • Ensuring high-quality, maintainable code through best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with Angular (modern versions preferred)
  • Proven ability to build high-performance front-end applications
  • Experience working with complex, data-heavy systems
  • Solid understanding of state management and reactive programming (RxJS / Signals)
  • Familiarity with SSR and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with monorepos or micro-frontend architectures is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced environments
