Business Systems Analyst

Belgrade, Serbia | Hybrid (2 or 3 days onsite)
Full-time | Mid–Senior Level, B2B preffered but classic contract also possible

A global leader in financial technology solutions is expanding its team in Belgrade and is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support projects within the lending domain, including auto financing and equipment leasing.

The company provides technology solutions to banks, financial institutions, and capital markets worldwide, supporting critical systems that power modern financial services. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale fintech platforms, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to innovative solutions used by major financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Support product backlog management and prioritization in Agile environments
• Conduct business process analysis and mapping to improve operational efficiency
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
• Facilitate communication between business, product, UX, and technical teams
• Perform data analysis and reporting, including SQL-based queries when needed
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Contribute to solution design, wireframing, and user experience discussions
• Maintain accurate and structured documentation and system specifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management
• Proven experience in business process mapping and documentation
• Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience working with SQL Server or similar databases
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project and requirements management

Domain Expertise (Preferred)

Experience in the financial services or lending domain, including exposure to:

• Auto financing
• Equipment financing or leasing
• Loan origination or lending platforms

Nice to Have

• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Exposure to wireframing tools or UX collaboration
• Understanding of product management principles
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
