About

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our backend and cloud engineering teams. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys scaling both teams and technology.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of 5+ developers, with the team expected to grow over time.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute sprints, releases, and patch management.
• Collaborate with cross-geo teams across multiple time zones to ensure smooth delivery.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Drive technical decision-making and align engineering output with business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven of experience in software engineering and team leadership.
• Strong experience leading development teams of 5 or more engineers.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, and Python (in that order of preference).
• Solid understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with HTTP protocols, security principles, and scalable backend architectures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of coordinating across multiple teams and time zones.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and backend observability tools.
• Hands-on experience with security best practices in cloud and backend systems.
