QA Engineer (Automation + Manual)

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Automation + Manual) to join our growing engineering team and take full ownership of quality across modern, data-driven web applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining automation and hands-on testing, working closely with developers and product teams, and ensuring high standards of reliability and performance in production systems.

About the Role

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality end-to-end. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies, implement automated tests, and perform manual testing where needed.

This is a quality ownership role, not just test execution.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of software quality across web applications
• Design and execute both automated and manual test cases
• Build and maintain test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• Test complex, data-heavy web applications and APIs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives)
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with both automation and manual testing
• Strong background in web application testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
• Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
• Math / Physics / Engineering background is mandatory

Not a Fit If

• You are a manual-only QA engineer
• You have no experience with test automation tools
• You prefer executing test cases without owning quality outcomes

  • 1 day per week in office (Belgrade)
  • 1 day per month for candidates outside Belgrade
