Qualifications:

– Advanced knowledge of Linux systems, particularly in optimization and troubleshooting
– Strong Python expertise for scripting, automation, and system processes
– Proficiency in managing containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes; familiarity with tools such as Slurm is a plus
– Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Helm, Terraform, Ansible)
– Skilled in using container platforms like Docker or Podman
– Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including GitLab or equivalent systems
– Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
– Understanding of relational databases, performance tuning, and distributed system management
– Agile methodology experience, with an emphasis on team collaboration and continuous improvement
– Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) is advantageous
– Excellent English communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination

Role Responsibilities:

– Create scalable solutions to automate system management and monitoring
– Develop tools to improve deployment processes, incident resolution, and large-scale system performance
– Partner with various teams to design and deploy reliable software solutions
– Implement monitoring systems to provide real-time performance insights and participate in incident response
– Enhance deployment pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible
– Manage distributed systems using orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
– Utilize cloud and automation tools to optimize resource provisioning
