Project Overview
Solana, launched by Anatoly Yakovenko in 2017, is a fast, scalable blockchain leveraging the innovative “Proof of History” consensus. It powers secure decentralized apps and marketplaces with over 1,400 validators. P2P has supported Solana from its inception, managing $50M and contributing to projects like Wormhole Bridge, Pyth, Neon EVM, and Lido on Solana.
With daily activity exceeding 30,000 active addresses and millions of transactions, Solana drives DeFi innovation. Key developments include Solana Pay, enabling instant, low-cost payments, and the Solana Mobile flagship phone, Saga.
Your Role
– Implement industry-standard validation, logging, and monitoring practices.
– Analyze validator network requirements and build infrastructure to meet them.
– Deploy and maintain validation nodes for Proof-of-Stake (PoS) staking.
– Design scripts, tools, and playbooks to automate tasks and enhance efficiency.
– Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions compatible across cloud providers.
– Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
What You Bring
– Advanced Linux knowledge.
– Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools. Proficiency with Terraform and configuration management systems like Ansible.
– Familiarity with both on-premise and cloud environments, especially GCP.
– A foundation in cryptography and information security.
– Experience with procedural programming in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or C++. (Pet projects and code literacy are a plus!)
– Ability to analyze and understand code for improved efficiency.
– Proficient English communication skills (B2+).
