Position Overview

This role stands as a cornerstone within our company, particularly as we prepare to expand our platform to a broader audience, necessitating a robust cloud infrastructure to accommodate anticipated increased loads.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll assume responsibility for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of our platform. Proficiency in constructing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like Lambda, ECS (Fargate), Aurora, among others, is essential. Embracing automation, performance metric gathering, and implementing logging, tracing, and notification systems to preempt issues are fundamental practices. You should possess adeptness in managing bare metal Linux servers, serverless architectures employing Lambda functions, and PostgreSQL databases on Aurora, among other platforms. Our toolkit includes AWS CloudFormation managed through AWS CDK, serverless framework tools, and traditional shell scripts for architecture management.

Your role will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining services to ensure uptime, performance, and security from the outset. As the company expands, you’ll transition into a leadership role, spearheading infrastructure initiatives as the team grows. Hence, prior experience in team leadership and personnel management is crucial.

While experience in fintech and/or blockchain technologies is advantageous, it’s not mandatory.
