Senior Product Specialist

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of business and technology. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional designs, enabling the delivery of high-quality, scalable financial solutions. Working closely within Agile product teams, you will ensure alignment between stakeholder expectations, product strategy, and technical implementation.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements across multiple initiatives
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements
• Write detailed, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to support Agile delivery
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring transparency, traceability, and prioritization aligned with business value
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure proposed solutions align with overall product strategy, regulatory considerations, and market needs
• Support end-to-end solution design across complex system workflows and integrations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Scrum teams, including Product Owners, Developers, QA, and UX
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Respond effectively to changing priorities, evolving requirements, and stakeholder feedback
• Provide data-driven and analytical insights to support product and business decision-making
• Contribute to product documentation, release notes, and knowledge-sharing materials
• Share expertise and mentor junior specialists and team members when appropriate
• Apply a structured, proactive, and stakeholder-focused approach to problem solving and delivery

Profile & Skills

• Strong experience in product specialization, business analysis, or a similar role within Agile environments
• Proven ability to work with complex systems, preferably within financial services or enterprise platforms
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
• Comfortable working in fast-changing environments with multiple parallel initiatives
