• Lead validation efforts for customer designs, platforms, and upgrade/downgrade procedures (MoPs).
• Define detailed test requirements and use cases directly with customers.
• Emulate real-world networks using high-end lab infrastructure and traffic generators.
• Create and run automated tests using the ROBOT framework and Python scripting.
• Analyze and report test results; document findings with clear issue tracking.
• Troubleshoot network and software problems in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with SVS quality standards and validation methodologies.
• Enhance automation in validation workflows for scalability and consistency.
• Support discussions on opportunity development and renewals for SVS services.
• Demonstrate consulting excellence and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Possess strong domain knowledge in SDA, SD-WAN, R&S; DC, ACI, SP are a plus.
• Apply CCNP-level knowledge (minimum requirement) in relevant technology areas.
• Hold or pursue CCIE certification (Enterprise track preferred).
• Use and manage traffic generator tools such as Ixia or Spirent.
• Build and validate real-world customer network designs and deployments.
• Strong scripting skills in Robot/Python; familiarity with Ansible/Terraform is a plus.
• Adapt to both Agile and Waterfall project delivery models.
• Apply foundational project management practices to validation workstreams.
• Work in a high-performance lab environment with exposure to full Cisco tech stack.
• Learn continuously and contribute to Cisco’s innovation-driven culture.
