Principal Engineer – Service Provider Network Transformation

• Design and implement Cisco solutions across complex Service Provider infrastructures.
• Lead planning, integration, and automation for large-scale network environments.
• Architect and deploy automation projects within structured SDLC methodologies.
• Build lab environments to simulate customer networks for validation and testing.
• Deliver detailed documentation, solution designs, and knowledge transfer content.
• Work with Cisco platforms (IOS XR, IOS XE) and open-source network tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor to major SP customers across the European region.
• Troubleshoot and configure core protocols: BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, QoS.
• Implement solutions involving Multicast, EVPN, MVPN, Segment Routing.
• Design and support SP services: Internet, L3VPN, L2VPN, Triple Play.
• Automate operations using Python, Shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead migrations and router upgrades in high-impact SP environments.
• Understand Mobility networks and data center infrastructure fundamentals.
• Align network transformations to strategic business outcomes.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality technical documents and architecture deliverables.
• Fluent in English; excels in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and committed to continuous learning.
• CCNP or CCIE certification preferred (Service Provider/Enterprise focus).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end customer success.
