Job Summary

This role is hybrid, not fully remote. There will be days when you will be working from home and other days when you must be physically be present and able to work from one of our offices in Belgrade. You will be working on a novel, patent-pending software solution for remote video surveillance and facility monitoring, combining audio/video streaming, machine learning and business transaction processing. Our new colleague is expected to work on designing, implementing and documenting the frontend of the software system we are developing from scratch, as an in-house product, using modern architecture and technologies.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Development and implementation of frontend web apps, custom-designed for company needs
• Regular maintenance and improvement of existing web apps and platforms
• Ensuring functionality and optimization of web apps via regular testing and feedback
• Researching new technology and tools across different departments
• Keeping software and company tools up to date with the latest features available
• Innovation of new solutions that meet the custom needs of the company and its customers
• Communicating in a clear and structured way with colleagues and managers to ensure optimal collaboration and teamwork
• Following the agreed team or project processes and procedures, including reporting to superiors on status of project/release/task efforts and key issues

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
• 2+ years experience working with ReactJS
• A very good understanding of Javascript, CSS and HTML
• Essential level in programming / algorithmic solving skills
  Understanding of libraries such as React, Redux Sagas/Thunk), etc…
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• English speaking and writing proficiency

• A keen sense of what makes a good user experience
• Understanding of Websocket protocols
