About the Role (Mission)
The General Manager is tasked with ensuring long-term, profitable growth while overseeing the company’s operations. This includes full financial accountability, guiding teams, and executing strategic objectives.
The position blends vision-setting with active execution and is pivotal for scaling the business further. The main areas of focus are revenue expansion, customer acquisition, people development, and operational performance.
Reporting to the CEO, the GM will act as a strategic partner, coordinating efforts across more than 20 remote professionals in marketing, sales, finance, IT, HR, and operations. You’ll directly manage four department leads.
You’ll define clear expectations, monitor progress through the right metrics, enforce accountability, and build robust systems. At the same time, you’ll safeguard our culture while evolving and scaling our B2B direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy: Analyze challenges and recommend improvements, uncovering root causes and leading initiatives to boost results.
- Financial Stewardship: Within 3–6 months, assume complete P&L accountability, ensuring sustainable profitability.
- Team Leadership: Guide and inspire a distributed workforce of 20+, developing talent across marketing, sales, product, finance, HR, and tech.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee subscription processes, customer lifecycle management, and recurring revenue strategies.
- Culture & Performance Tracking: Implement dashboards, KPIs, and alignment tools to ensure visibility, coherence, and performance across all teams.

Ideal Career Background
- Experience scaling a small company (under 50 staff), particularly SaaS firms with $2M–$10M ARR.
- At least 3 years in B2B SaaS, as we expand our commercial offering.
- Strong technical or engineering background.
- 4+ years in SaaS/Tech/IT leadership roles, ideally in infrastructure, developer, or privacy-focused companies.
- Proven record of managing full P&L responsibility for 4+ years.
- Experience leading remote, multicultural teams (3+ years).
- A solid background in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years directly involved.
- Exposure to B2B sales teams and subscription business models.
- Familiarity with key SaaS metrics (MRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- Cross-cultural leadership experience (knowledge of Balkans/Eastern Europe is a bonus).
- Worked closely with founders or held a second-in-command role.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
