We are currently hiring, on behalf of one of our global clients, a SAP S/4HANA Rollout Project Manager to support a major ERP transformation program.
This initiative is part of a broad business and IT transformation effort aimed at building a future-ready ERP environment that supports:

• standardized global business processes
The program involves consolidating the existing SAP landscape and migrating to SAP S/4HANA using a previously established global template.
The rollout will span 23 end-to-end business processes across multiple divisions and regions worldwide.
The successful candidate will join the program as a Rollout Project Manager, responsible for organizing and delivering local rollout activities while maintaining alignment with the global template and governance framework.
This position is delivery-focused and centers on executing rollout activities rather than leading the overall program.
The Rollout Project Manager will take ownership of the following areas:
• creating a detailed local rollout plan
• ensuring local activities align with the global program timeline
• coordinating tasks across both business and IT stakeholders
• structuring project phases and defining work packages
• coordinating efforts with:
o Team Leads
o Business Core Team members
o SAP Template organization
o Template SPOCs
o local IT departments
• maintaining the project timeline and detailed execution plan
• monitoring milestones and deliverables
• identifying and managing risks and issues ⚠️
• preparing and tracking the rollout budget
• delivering financial updates and status reports alongside business stakeholders
• producing regular progress reports for Rollout Management
• facilitating communication between business and IT parties
• organizing and supporting Steering Committee sessions
• ensuring decisions are properly recorded and actioned
• overseeing rollout of designated end-to-end processes
• coordinating localization needs together with the Business Cluster Manager
• managing testing phases and cutover preparation
• ensuring compliance with S/4HANA template standards and infrastructure rules
• managing external vendors and consultants involved in the rollout
We are seeking candidates with the following background:
• 8–12+ years of experience in IT project management
• prior involvement in SAP initiatives
• hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts
• track record of delivering full-lifecycle SAP projects
• experience working within global organizations 🌍
• ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
• familiarity with complex projects involving numerous stakeholders and governance structures
• experience operating in Agile environments
• working knowledge of Jira and user-story-based delivery
• excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• strong communication across multiple organizational levels
• ability to coordinate several teams within large transformation programs
• fluency in English is required
• German language skills are considered an advantage
The client is specifically seeking a delivery-focused Rollout Project Manager rather than a strategic transformation leader.
Candidates who are substantially overqualified (for example, transformation directors or global program heads) may not be suitable for this role.
