Simcorp Dimension Developers will utilize the latest tools, techniques, and methodologies to build, modify, or upgrade applications that support both business and infrastructure teams. They are essential in leading technical initiatives within development teams, collaborating with stakeholders to meet business requirements and streamline processes. With their deep expertise in Simcorp Dimension DFS/DEX, data handling, and configuration modifications, they will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality applications in complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product owners and development teams to outline new features, user stories, and requirements for developing or enhancing applications, particularly for larger and more intricate projects.
• Draft and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, such as specifications, architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guides, to support the development process.
• Participate in peer code reviews to verify adherence to user stories, development standards, architectural guidelines, and technical libraries.
• Provide Simcorp Dimension DFS/DEX expertise and assist in solving production issues, with an emphasis on refining data formats and configurations for multiple accounting systems.
• Lead technical teams in delivering solutions, take part in Agile meetings (including planning, grooming, product demos, and retrospectives), and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Offer mentorship to junior developers and team members, providing advice on tools, techniques, and promoting best practices throughout the development process.
• Continuously seek to improve development processes, taking a broader perspective on responsibilities and sharing insights to enhance the workflow.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth integration of Simcorp Dimension with pension management and investment platforms, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with actuarial and financial reporting teams to develop Simcorp solutions tailored for pension fund management and risk reporting purposes.
• Design and implement scalable automated workflows in Simcorp Dimension to support investment portfolios, risk management activities, and financial reconciliation processes.
• Provide ongoing technical support and perform maintenance for Simcorp configurations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Extensive experience in configuring and developing with Simcorp Dimension, specifically in DFS/DEX and making configuration adjustments.
• Knowledge of securities, treasury, early funding accounting, and consolidation services is desirable.
• High level of proficiency in UNIX, Oracle, and PLSQL is essential.
• Familiarity with pension fund operations, regulatory guidelines, and investment reporting, with the ability to configure Simcorp Dimension to cater to specific pension administration requirements.
