Senior System Administrator

We’re looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to take ownership of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability across both on-premises and cloud environments.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based data center infrastructure.
• Administer and optimize virtualization platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments and NAS storage solutions.
• Implement security best practices while ensuring compliance with PCI and ISO standards.
• Monitor infrastructure health, configure alerting systems, and proactively resolve incidents.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access management systems.
• Lead infrastructure-related projects and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Define and improve office IT infrastructure standards and employee equipment.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and continuously improve infrastructure performance and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with virtualization technologies, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure automation.
• Experience administering IIS and Apache web servers.
• Knowledge of antivirus, monitoring, and alerting platforms.
• Experience using IT ticketing systems.
• Solid understanding of security standards, including PCI and ISO, server hardening, endpoint protection, and network segmentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration, including failover, security, backup, and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across DNS, SMTP, NTP, Syslog, and related infrastructure services.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, firewalls, routing, subnetting, and the OSI model.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and change management processes.
• Professional proficiency in English.
