Back-End Developer (Java) – Vienna (Hybrid)

About the Role:

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain backend systems for our lottery platforms.
• Work in an agile team using a modern Java and JavaScript tech stack (Spring Boot, TypeScript, JavaScript, React).
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to ensure smooth development and operation of your product.
• Improve and extend applications together with other Scrum and cross-functional teams.
• Embrace continuous deployment and contribute to optimizing processes.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Quick learner, adaptable to new projects during the contract period.
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
• Ability to work on-site in Vienna 2-3 days per week (likely less).
• Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is an advantage.
• IT-related education (HTL, FH, University, etc.).
